Buenas noches!!!
aqui les dejo varias definiciones de interfaz...
1. As you've already learned, objects define their interaction with the outside world through the methods that they expose. Methods form the object's interface with the outside world; the buttons on the front of your television set, for example, are the interface between you and the electrical wiring on the other side of its plastic casing. You press the "power" button to turn the television on and off.
(WIKIPEDIA)
3. A surface forming a common boundary between adjacent regions, bodies, substances, or phases
4. interfacial in'ter·fa'cial adj.
USAGE NOTE The noun interface has been around since the 1880s, meaning "a surface forming a common boundary, as between bodies or regions." But the word did not really take off until the 1960s, when it began to be used in the computer industry to designate the point of interaction between a computer and another system, such as a printer.

ACLARACIÓN: es
incorrecto el uso de "interfa
se"
como sinónimo de
interfaz (o, en inglés, interface). Interfase significa otras cosas en
biología y físico-química.
